Rev. Leonard N. Ricketts, 83 a longtime resident of Dumas, Arkansas. He was born September 30, 1937, in Waynesboro, Tennessee the son of the late, Roy and Anna Lou Devers Ricketts. His parents, and loving wife Claudetta “Ding Dong” Singleton Ricketts, four brothers Edward, Richard, David, and Joe Ricketts and three sisters Jean Kilburn, June Davis and Ruth Bottoms all preceded him in death.
He was a member of Watson Assembly of God Church and currently attending Garrett Bridge Assembly of God Church. He was co-owner and accountant for 41 years at Westerman-Ricketts. He served 39 years as Minister for Watson Assembly of God Church. He served as President of Arkansas Society of Public accountants and member of Kiwanis club. Also served in the United States Navy.
Survivors are three daughters Terri (Pat) Wood of Gallatin, Tennessee, Debbie (Robert) Priest of Dumas, Arkansas and Rene’ (Wesley) Westerman of Dumas, Arkansas and one sister Louise Rice of Clinton, Arkansas, 8 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation held from 5 – 7 PM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, Griffin Funeral Home, we ask that mask be wore inside. Funeral services held at 2 PM, Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Watson Assembly of God Church with Brother Dean Caldwell and Brother Paul Pickens officiating and burial following at Walnut Lake Cemetery in Pickens, Arkansas. Following CDC with mask wore inside. Memorials may be made to Donor’s choice of charity.
