The 7th Annual Merry MainStreet lit up Main Street with Christmas Cheer with a smaller crowd December 3.
The event began with a parade of dancers and twirlers from Candyland Dance Studio, a miniature Mary and Joseph, and Santa riding his red sleigh. 5-year-old Owen Byers dressed as Joseph walked by the wagon pulling his sister 1-year-old Adalyn Byers dressed as Mary who rode in a wagon with “Baby Jesus”.
Around a dozen venders booths lined North Main selling baked goods, Christmas decorations, masks, clothing, and other items. Santa heard the Children's Christmas wishes abiding by social distancing rules. A petting zoo, Women’s Service League cake walk, Abundant Life Toy Walk and a Ferris wheel entertained the children.
