New saplings will be adding to the beauty of Memorial Park after the dedication and planting ceremony held by the Arkansas Black Mayor’s Association for their Delta Community Forest Project. The ADCFP program will plant a total of 1,200 youth-aged trees at community gathering spaces and public schools within disadvantaged communities.
10 saplings now call the grounds of Memorial Park home as a part of the Delta Community Forest Project on Dumas Planting Day December 11, 2025.
