On Thursday, October 2nd, state officials traveled to Dumas to and presented a $100,000 check to Desha County Officials, to help offset the cost to the county for getting moved into the new 911 Center location in Dumas, and to reward Desha County for consolidating all dispatch and 911 duties to one Central location.
