Attorney General Tim Griffin selected Desha County Sheriff Sergeant Roland Brown as the 2025 Desha County Law Enforcement Officer of the Year. Sheriff Grant will accompany Sgt. Brown at an awards luncheon in Benton on December 11th, where Sgt. Brown will receive the award.
“I am very proud that Sgt. Brown was selected for this award. He has earned it through his dedicated service of over 30 years to the people of Desha County, and for his leadership as the Patrol Division Supervisor within our Office,” said Sheriff Mitch Grant.
