Gail Roberts Miller, 73, of Dumas, AR departed this life Friday, July 15, 2022, at Delta Memorial Hospital. She was born October 18, 1948, in Douglas, GA to late Samuel M. Roberts Jr and the late Timmie Lee Davis Roberts.
She married her sweetheart and best friend Mitch Miller Sr. on April 22, 1967. They celebrated over 55 years of love for one another. They moved to Arkansas in 1977 and in the early 80’s she began her pottery business in her home. It eventually grew into the wonderful business known as Miller’s Mud Mill. She has been recognized many times over the years with awards accolades from newspapers, organizations, Governors and even the President. Her pottery is seen in homes and businesses all over the country and overseas. More than her love for her pottery was love for her family.
Gail and Mitch were blessed with four sons. Their first son passed away at birth. Mitch Miller Jr (Shelley) of Dumas, Matthew Miller (Molly) of Dover and Corey Miller (Tracie) of Dumas were her pride and joy. Her love was multiplied in her grandchildren Joshua, Kailey, Courtney, Hayden, Logan, Katelyn, Ian, Abbey, and Clayton. She even had one little topping on the cake, her great-grandson, Layne.
Visitation will be Monday, July 18, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel.
A celebration of life will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 10:00 am at Griffin Funeral Home both in Dumas, AR with Bro Rick Miller officiating, with burial following at Walnut Lake Cemetery, Pickens, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Joshua Dottley , Hayden Miller, Logan Miller, Ian Miller, Lee Brooks, Alex Nicholas, and Clayton Miller as an honorary pallbearer.
The family would like to thank Dr. Chambers and the staff at Delta Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care and respect given to Gail during her stay.
