Stacy Leigh Hill, age 55, of Dumas, went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2022. She was born in Helena, AR on January 25, 1967, and was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nellie Mae Bevel, her grandfather, Weldon B Locklear, her daddy Billy Junior Campbell, and her uncle Charles Weldon Locklear.
She is survived by her mother, Joann Campbell Surguine, of Douglas, AR, her stepfather, Richard Surguine, of Grady, AR, her sister Tracy (Jeff) Stark of West Memphis, AR, and her aunt Dianna Locklear of Pine Bluff, AR. Stacy earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She later earned a second bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Phoenix University.
Stacy had retired but stayed very active by reading, knitting, crocheting, and doing other arts & crafts. She enjoyed watching her favorite baseball team, the Houston Astros. Stacy was a member of the WISE women's group of Dumas, where she acted as a facilitator for the group. She also had recently joined the First Baptist Church, of Dumas, and was serving the Lord with the membership there.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Graveside Services will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas at 2:00pm. Services will be held at the new pavilion on the cemetery property.
