Dumas High School Sophomore Jocelyn Ramirez earned the Arkansas Bilteracy Seal.
According to the Arkansas Department of Education, Jocelyn has demonstrated evidence of academic perseverance, intercultural competence, and readiness for a 21st century global community. In order to obtain the seal, students must pass the STAMPS assessment in other language than English. In addition, they must have two sets of evidence proving they are proficient in English . Such evidence includes ATLAS or ACT assessment.
