On Thursday March 30th, Desha County Clerk Valerie Donaldson administer the Oath of Office to Desha County’s newest Deputy, Alan Hernandez. Hernandez began as a radio operator, and in the two years that he has been a certified Law Enforcement Officer, he has obtained numerous specialized certifications and training certificates. Deputy Hernandez graduated the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in April, 2021. Deputy Hernandez comes to us from the Dumas Police Department, where he worked in both the Patrol, and Criminal Investigation Divisions.
