Desha County Judge Wayne Smith swears Taylor Crook as the newest Desha County Deputy Sheriff October 30. Taylor lives in McGehee and joins the department with 2 1/2 years of certified experience. Deputy Crook will be assigned to the patrol division. “We look forward to him jumping right in with the team and doing good work for the awesome folks of Desha County,” Sheriff Mitch Grant said.
