With a focus on strengthening instruction, the Dumas Public School District has partnered with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), to provide instructional support via a High Quality Learning Provider.
Summer professional development was hosted with two full days for each campus followed by a fall session in a district wide PD held on October 10, 2025.
Wil Redmond, Lead TNTP Senior Manager, Jordunn Saladino and Dorian Myers led sessions for Reed Elementary, Dumas Middle School and Dumas High School.

Dumas High School ELA and Strategic Reading Teachers
As an additional layer of support for curriculum and instruction, DHS English Language Arts (ELA)/Strategic Reading teachers were provided with support on site in-district by DESE, Ms. Kelly Stone supported by Mrs. Uyolonda Wilson, DESE on November 6, 2025.
